Returning to Quebec City in Mission

When the Missionaries of Africa first came to the Americas in 1901, they came to Quebec. From there, hundreds of Quebecois missionaries were sent to serve in Africa. Today, the Society returns in gratitude and will begin serving at Saint-Roch, Quebec City’s largest church. A three-member team will provide pastoral presence at Saint-Roch and in the surrounding neighborhood, continuing a shared history of faith and mission that reflects a mutual gift between Quebec and Africa.

To preach… to teach… to heal… to build.

That is what we have been doing since 1868, and with your help today, we are able to keep doing this; spreading the message of hope to our brothers and sisters in Africa who are the poorest of the poor.
