Missionary of Africa Appointed Bishop of Kabale, Uganda

Pope Leo XIV has appointed Father Bonaventure Bosco Gubazire, M.Afr., as the new Bishop of Kabale, Uganda. A native of the diocese he will now serve, Bishop-elect Gubazire has spent more than two decades in missionary ministry and formation, serving in Mozambique, Malawi, the Philippines, and most recently as rector of the Missionaries of Africa’s St. Martin of Tours Formation House in Ejisu, Ghana.
